A brief introduction to our
pinhole detection system and what sets us apart
from the industry...
When
inspecting for pinholes in a flat web, our
process is straight forward by providing a very
powerful NIR source above the web or material
and scanning for through holes that pass through
the web. We can do this at full line speed with
sensitivity down to below 8 microns with ease.
(FYI 9 microns is 0.0003 inches or .008mm).
When
it comes to inspecting a deep form cavity or
cold form, the process is more complicated.
Other manufactures will claim that a hole on a
sidewall that is below a certain level maybe be
allowable from foil mfg. specs and can be "ignored"
to save material etc... We believe NO HOLE
SHOULD GO UNSEEN. This is why we have
spent years developing our exclusive BWA
Technology (Broadband-Wavelength Array).
Our technology floods the cavity with so much
NIR, that holes cannot escape our inspection.
And to
further increase sensitivity, we incorporate
industries largest detection area to capture
sidewall holes at all angles at 100% line speed
while maintaining full sensitivity fully
adjustable on the front display panel.
